In Burgas, Bulgaria, our subsidiary Sonnis Energy Bulgaria has created one of the largest energy communities in the country to date – a milestone for the local energy transition.

Last year, a photovoltaic system with a total capacity of 253.44 kWp was installed on the roof of a swimming pool building. Particularly efficient: the electricity generated on site flows directly into the swimming complex’s own consumption. Thanks to implementation in just 20 days, the system was able to go into operation on schedule.

The fact that over 130 members – both citizens and legal entities – are already part of this community underscores the confidence in this forward-looking business model.
